The cost of living in Scarborough has grown, and grown, and grown.
We need to prioritize building affordable homes, providing job (re)training, making transit more affordable, and stimulating the local economy by focusing on youth and Scarborough businesses.
Quality of Life.
We have an opportunity to make Scarborough a more livable place.
By focusing on traffic congestion, infrastructure, and pedestrian safety and recommitting ourselves to being a “City within a Park,” we can ensure that all residents can fully enjoy the neighbourhood.
Safety.
In order for our families to thrive, we need safe neighbourhoods.
As a community, we need to develop a strategy to prevent car thefts, home break-ins and gun violence that is responsive to the local needs of Scarborough. We also need to invest in the infrastructure necessary to protect pedestrians and cyclists so that everyone can safely go about their lives in Scarborough.
