Traffic Safety Town Hall on Huntingwood Drive

Last month I hosted a Traffic Safety Town Hall to address concerns from residents about ongoing driver conduct along Huntingwood Drive. I was joined by Rayman Dhadda from the City’s Traffic Operations Department and Constable Alison Avery from Toronto Police Service’s 42 Division to learn more about the options available to increase road safety for residents, especially students who are walking to school in the area. Thank you to everyone who attended to provide feedback and ask questions and to the staff at Henry Kelsey Senior Public School for hosting us. This town hall is a reminder that we are stronger when we work together as a community and I am committed to continuing to work with City Staff and Toronto Police Services to increase pedestrian and road safety in this area. I am also committed to creating more opportunities for us to join together as a community to discuss important issues and find practical solutions to build an even better Scarborough North.
