Nominations Open for the Scarborough North Community Leader Award
Councillor Jamaal Myers is pleased to announce the launch of the Scarborough North Community Leader Award, a new initiative celebrating residents who make exceptional contributions to the Scarborough North community.
The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate leadership, compassion, and a commitment to improving the lives of others. From supporting local youth and seniors to organizing neighbourhood programs or championing community well‑being, these leaders play a vital role in strengthening Scarborough North.
“Every day, residents across Scarborough North step up to support their neighbours and build a more connected, caring community,” said Councillor Myers. “This award is an opportunity to honour those who go above and beyond to make a difference.”
How to Nominate
Community members are invited to nominate an individual who has shown outstanding dedication to Scarborough North. The nomination form asks for:
The nominee’s name, address, and email
The reason for the nomination
A description of the nominee’s contributions to the community
