February Events in Scarborough North, Join Us This Month!

Dear Friends and Neighbours,

February is a meaningful month in Scarborough North, a time to come together to celebrate culture, community, and connection. I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at the events happening across our ward this month.

Below is a list of upcoming February events:

Councillor Myers Family Skate Party

Friday, February 13
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Agincourt Community Recreation Centre
31 Glen Watford Drive, Scarborough

Celebrate the PA Day, Family Day weekend and Valentine’s Day with a free family skate. The event includes free skate and helmet lending through the City of Toronto SkateLending Library, hot chocolate, music, and Candy-grams for families.

Residents are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item in support of Tropicana Community Services’ food bank. With each donation, a Candy-gram will be delivered by me personally.

Scarborough North Lunar New Year Celebration

Saturday, February 21
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Woodside Square Mall

Join us for our annual Lunar New Year celebration, co-hosted with community partners at Woodside Square. The event will feature cultural performances, activities for families, and opportunities to come together as we welcome the Lunar New Year.

Black History Month Soup Sunday

Join us for a Black History Month community gathering focused on reflection, connection, and shared conversation. No registration is required.

Scarborough Community Iftar

Wednesday, February 25

Scarborough Civic Centre

Hosted on behalf of Scarborough City Councillors, this year’s annual  Scarborough Community Iftar focuses on How We Show Up for Each Other. This is a time to bring residents together during the month of Ramadan for reflection and community fellowship.
