Community Update: Join us for exciting community events this July!
Dear Friends and Neighbours,
I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the start of summer. As your City Councillor, I remain deeply committed to working hard for our community, listening to your concerns, delivering on priorities, and finding new ways to make Scarborough North an even better place to live.
This month, I’ll also be out in the community, and I look forward to meeting many of you at your doorsteps. I always value hearing your ideas and feedback firsthand.
Alongside meeting you all at your houses, we have a number of fantastic events planned across Scarborough North in July, and I am excited to connect with you in person. These gatherings are a wonderful way to strengthen our community ties, share ideas, and spend time together.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building a strong, vibrant, and inclusive community. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Community Meeting – On-Street Permit Parking
Monday, June 21, 2025
2:00 p.m.
Pinery Trail
I have heard from residents about the need for more on-street parking. There are many benefits to introducing permit parking on residential streets, including providing extra space for larger households and renters, ensuring that only local residents receive permits, and maintaining snow clearing and waste collection services.
Come learn about how on-street permit parking works in Toronto and explore how it could support your neighbourhood. A petition to show community support will be circulated at the meeting.
Movie Night in the Park
With Rosewood Community Association
Friday, July 18, 2025
Movie starts at sunset (approximately 9:00 p.m.)
Alexmuir Park
Enjoy a movie under the stars with your friends and family. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and don’t miss the free popcorn.
We have an ongoing poll to help us decide which movie to screen, and we would love your input. The options are:
Paddington in Peru
Dog Man
Wild Robot
